Energy Efficiency in Lighting was in the highlights at IstanbulLight.

The Ministries of Energy and Natural Resources and Industry stated their supports to the ‘Lighting Industry’ at the ‘Energy Efficiency in Lighting’ Session on Commerce Stage at IstanbulLight 12th International Lighting & Electrical Equipment Fair and Congress. Mr. Oguz Can, Head of Energy Efficiency and Environment Office, underlined the importance of self-regulation in quality, standard and certification for the industry to take firm steps forward its progress. Mr. Mehmet Bozdemir, Director General of Industrial Products Safety and Control said: “we would like to redefine the 2020 supervision plan according to the industry”...


A Great Interest from the Lighting Sector

IstanbulLight opened its doors in Istanbul Expo Center on 18 September with the great interest of the sector held many important sector events at the same time.  "Qualified Lighting in Turkey" was the main theme of the panels at the 12th National Congress of Lighting; The 3rd IstanbulLight Lighting Design Summit, which hosted famous local and international designers, and the Commercial Stage presentations where the sector agenda discussions continued during the 4 days of the fair.


IstanbulLight Partners with Middle East Energy

After 44 highly-successful editions, Middle East Electricity will evolve into Middle East Energy in 2020 - an energetic transformation which aims to keep the region’s leading power industry event at the forefront of a rapidly-evolving sector.

As demand for digitised and renewable energy solutions increase across the globe, the future-focused Middle East Energy platform will debut at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 3-5 March 2020, bringing together leading lights of the global industry, from energy ministers and utilities decision makers to innovative start-ups and future technology providers.


Lighting Wastes Collected to Benefit Seed Autism Foundation

In partnership with AGID, Informa Markets and Tohum Autism Foundation, 637 kg of electrical and electronic waste was collected for an important donation. IstanbulLight visitors and exhibitors could deliver their waste at the waste collection area located at the fair. By participating to the social responsibility campaign; visitors and exhibitors had the chance to contribute to the protection of the environment as well as to the education of children with autism.
